September is suicide awareness month.
This week, CBCA will be shedding light on suicide prevention tips. Every year, thousands of people end their lives through suicide. Often the warning signs are present but go unnoticed. Students will be learning about factors that contribute to a person's mental health such as bullying, or the dangers of social media, along with being made aware of signs to look out for and ways they can help someone suspected of having suicidal thoughts. Resources and additional counselors will be provided all week.
